Milkomeda delivers rollup technologies to leading Layer 1 ecosystems by offering the most popular smart contracting language, Solidity, while enhancing inter-blockchain interoperability, user experience, and developer traction all at the Layer 2 level.
Engagement Highlights
We wrote the smart contract and services at the core of the Milkomeda bridge, which allows interoperability between L2s and the base layers.
We co-developed a rollup-based blockchain gaming engine which has already seen the successful launch of multiple blockchain games.
We incubated and launched WingRiders, a decentralized exchange on the Cardano blockchain. Our collaboration resulted in a secure and successful platform, backed by venture funding and ranked #2 on Cardano in Total Value Locked.
We also helped WingRiders launch a native governance token, empowering users to participate in decision making. Additionally, our expertise in smart contract development was crucial when WingRiders discovered a bug in the competing exchange smart contract, saving over $195M TVL.
We have been a partner of API3 in a collaborative effort to build, manage, and monetize decentralized APIs (dAPIs), for over 2 years now. We were involved in all major parts of this complex project.

Airnode: a first-party oracle solution, which is essentially connecting an API provider directly to the blockchain without the need for a 3rd party
ChainAPI, standalone web application serving as sort of a “front-end” onboarding tool for API providers to set up and configure the oracle
API3 DAO, an open governance model for the API3 ecosystem
We designed and developed a Cardano NFT marketplace that stands out as one of the first non-custodial platforms on Cardano. It was the first Cardano NFT marketplace to support offers, providing an innovative solution for buyers and sellers.
The NFT marketplace is fast and reliable, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
During development, we identified several critical bugs in competing Cardano NFT marketplaces and helped mitigate the issues, further solidifying our commitment to quality and excellence.
We are internally developing a multi-chain wallet called NuFi that supports multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Cardano, Solana, Flow and other EVM chains. This innovative wallet allows connections to dApps on multiple blockchains at the same time and features an NFT gallery, staking, HW support, exchange integrations, fiat on-ramp and many other functionalities.
The key highlight is the non-custodial security and privacy provided while enabling a user to easily navigate the complex cross-chain world.
This was originally an internal project to develop a secure, lightweight web-based Cardano wallet to store ADA cryptocurrency. The goal was to address the performance limitations of the official Daedalus full node wallet caused by the size of its dependencies (and therefore attack vectors) and the need to download and synchronise the entire blockchain.
Engagement Highlight
Vacuumlabs reverse engineered the cryptography from the official Haskell full node wallet implementation and ported it to a lightweight JavaScript app. AdaLite also introduced HW wallet support for Cardano (Trezor followed by Ledger)
