Regional Scale-up Sales Lead (Americas)

Vacuumlabs is looking for a Sales Lead to grow our Americas business.

The Americas Scale-up Sales Lead will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and management of Vacuumlabs’ Americas growth in Scale-up business in the region.  The Sales Lead will be expected to maintain and grow relationships with some of the most exciting scale-up fintechs in North and South America.

Responsibilities will include identifying prospects, finding leads, negotiating contracts, closing sales, and managing accounts. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with clients as partners and create opportunities across the ecosystem.

Applicants should have an intimate knowledge of the financial services industry and be up-to-date with the latest in fintech, insurtech, and venture capital investments in the financial services and wider tech industry. Familiarity with the principles, tools, and technologies of modern software development would be an asset.

Job Responsibilities

  • Building a plan to meet sales targets.
  • Identifying target opportunities.
  • Prospecting for new business.
  • Negotiating and closing deals with new and existing customers.
  • Managing existing client relationships.
  • Adhering to and improving sales processes.
  • Establishing, building, and maintaining client relationships at all decision levels.
  • Representing Vacuumlabs at industry trade shows and relevant events in order to engage with prospects and other industry players. 
  • Travel to meet with clients or potential clients around the Americas region.

Experience

  • Demonstrated success in achieving targets in sales of development services and/or consulting with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong experience selling to Series A or later stage tech businesses. 
  • Strong contacts and references within the fintech ecosystem in the US & Canada; Latin America contacts are a bonus.
  • A curiosity about business trends and customer pain points.
  • Experienced across the entire sales life cycle and a desire to build credibility at every part of an engagement.
  • Knowledge of regional languages is a plus but certainly not a requirement
